Crossroads Serves As A Distribution Location

Crossroads Church receives a delivery of food from the Iowa Food Bank early in the morning. It is descent selection of various food items and typically had a very reasonable monetary value.
Once we get everything off the truck and set up, we begin distributing the boxes of food to community clients who self register as being in need of food.
The distribution officially begins at 8:30 am, but there is usually a line of people waiting in their cars, so we begin distributing as soon as we are prepared to do so. We are typically sent enough food to distribute to 150 to 180 families.
The food distribution ends when we run out of food to disperse, or at 10:30am.
